Broken Picture Identicard 2: the Bovining
Apr. 18th, 2020 03:23 amSo there I was, idly entertaining notions of a nice, sane, sensible prompt. The Savage Land, where Tony as Freddy Mercury could walk his dinosaur. Invisible buttsex, with buttsex and invisibility. And then... someone... said...
Cows.
And someone else said "Cows!" And all of a sudden, everyone was saying, "COWS!" It was like a thunderstorm of Holsteins, Jerseys, Guernseys, splatting all about me and me huddling beneath IronLawyer plaintively muttering about invisible dinosaur butts.
So, I, mod # .5, created a cow-themed prompt.
Iron Cowboy, I called it.
This is what I think an Iron Cowboy looks like:
I think he goes well with the song Sex Shooter. Tony's a (beat) sex shooter, shooting love in your direction. He's a (slap) sex shooter, come and play with his... affection.
Iron Lawyer described this as:
Cool... no cows so far!
So we went to GemAnthony, who provided the following masterpiece:

While I drooled, I'm pretty sure this song was suggested for the mix tape to our little road trip to Marlboro Country.
I showed this to the lucky RowanTree, who responded with the prompt:
This inspired Wynnesome:
.
We joked about a few songs for this, but settled on this, which by all rights should be accompanied by the Full Monty video for this particular purpose.
I wept that cake was writing a prompt, not arting, but then I wept that Cake's prompt was so good.
And had a song, too.
Thing Explainer had this to draw:

And Cathalinaheart came back with this prompt:
Now, listen here.
Next was KotaSailor's turn:

And here, another tragic "no art, just prompt" that turned out, well, actually kind of great, from Amy's not dead yet:
With, as Snow White used to say, a smile and a song.
Well, that's about it for Broken Picture Telephone, round 2. You cannot possibly have enjoyed it as much as I enjoyed moderating it, but if even came close, you should feel very smug about how much fun you had.
A plalist is gathered at https://youtu.be/UmTqS2IBkTc and I shall try to get around to adding it to SPotify.

Super sexy cowboy Tony poses with his shirt off, and gun at his hip. "Come get this, Sheriff Steve."

While I drooled, I'm pretty sure this song was suggested for the mix tape to our little road trip to Marlboro Country.

Tony Stark is standing in the desert, the sky very blue behind him. There's mountains in the distance. He's also only wearing a cowboy hat and jeans. How is he not sunburned? We don't know, but presumably lots of slathering of sunscreen was involved.
This inspired Wynnesome:

He stands in a field, the bright sun strokes his back even though we do not see it. He is surrounded by nature on all sides, mountains bordering his back and lettuce growing at his feet. The sky is cloudy and yet he hides his face from the glare of the sun underneath his cowboy hat. His pants are unbuttoned and his gleaming torso is perfectly sculpted and bare to the viewer, and perhaps it is this what makes him long to hide, rather than the sun. He is posing despite his hesitance. A hand holds on to his hat, shielding his eyes, but exposing his pout, and his other hand snakes behind his back.. is he holding his pants from slipping? perhaps...or perhaps he is unsure where else to put it, having been caught in such a position in his field. His shadow lounges behind him on the ground, unashamed in its exposure, even if he is.
And had a song, too.
Thing Explainer had this to draw:

And Cathalinaheart came back with this prompt:
Tony had known that Steve was helping out over on the Barnes farm with repairing the fence. But he wasn't prepared for the sight that greeted him when he walked by. His eyes nearly fell out of his head.
The sheriff was leaning against the fence, tipping his hat down to shield his face from the sun. He wasn't wearing shoes or a shirt and his blue jeans were riding low on his hips.
Tony hoped Steve couldn't see the blush that was spreading over his face, as he desperately tried not to stare at Steve's abs, his crotch or the piece of hay he was chewing on.
Now, listen here.
Next was KotaSailor's turn:

And here, another tragic "no art, just prompt" that turned out, well, actually kind of great, from Amy's not dead yet:
Tony didn't think he'd ever had a boner with his whole body before, but he'd also never seen Sheriff Rogers with his shirt and boots off, taking a break at the end of a hard day's work to enjoy the last of the sunlight. He'd shaded his eyes with his ten-gallon hat and plucked a bit of grass to chew on, eyes closed and face peaceful. His dark denim pants hung low and his happy trail led Tony's eyes even lower.
Steve may have stopped putting in fenceposts for the day, but he'd certainly erected one more pole. Tony just hoped that one wouldn't also end up wrapped in barbed wire, but he also couldn't seem to stop himself from staring appreciatively.
Maybe he'd finally get his chance to save a horse and ride that fine-ass cowboy.
With, as Snow White used to say, a smile and a song.
